The Nike Legend basketball sneaker debuted in 1983, and was available in low and high models. They were the first basketball sneaker to have colored soles and linings, a perforated toebox, and on the high-top model, a lacing system flexpoint. NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing was one of many players who wore the Nike Legend.
