"I purchased these shoes after reading Born to Run and learning that more cushioned shoes are actually correlated with more injuries. In the past, I've only been able to run once or twice a week. I have weak ankles, and a few months ago whenever I ran I ended up with such pain that I had to rest for several weeks. Amazingly, with these shoes I have no pain! I've been running nearly every day for over a month, 2-3 miles each time, with no injuries. Sometimes my feet or my calves feel sore, but I believe that's a result of strengthening them. In addition, they're the lightest sneakers I've ever worn.
