The Air Griffey Max 1 was originally released in 1996 when Ken Griffey Jr. played for the Seattle Mariners. It was his first signature sneaker and quickly became a favorite among sneakerheads. They feature a combination of materials on the upper, signature ankle strap with "24" on the side, visible Air-Sole unit, inner bootie, heel pull tab, and a rubber outsole.

When I saw these shoes on sneakerhead I knew I had to buy them before everyone else did. These kicks are a total neck breaker.
