Originally released in 1991, the Air Jordan VI Retro "Infrared" was the sneaker Michael Jordan wore while winning his first NBA Finals championship. It was designed by Tinker Hatfield, and inspired by Jordan's slant-nosed Porsche. The last year the coveted Air Jordan VI Retro "Infrared" re-released was 2014. Although they did stay true to the original design, there was one major change - they featured a "Jumpman" on the heel instead of "NIKE AIR." After Jordan Brand saw all the complaints fill blogs around the internet, the 2014 version is going back to the original embroidered "NIKE AIR," and Jordanheads could not be happier. Look for the Air Jordan VI Retro "Infrared" dropping soon.
