What was the first sneaker legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield and Michael Jordan worked on? The Air Jordan III. Known for its stylish tumbled leather and unique elephant print, it's one of the most fashionable Air Jordan models ever released. Plus, to fulfill Jordan's request, they were also crafted to be comfortable "fresh out of the box." After meeting with Jordan, Tinker knew exactly what he wanted to create, but always debated one element. In early sketches Tinker included the Nike Swoosh, but as you know, the final design did not. Well, now it does. The Air Jordan III Retro Tinker NRG pays homage to the original unreleased design, complete with Nike Swoosh.
