According to Adidas, the new 4D outsole design on the Adidas AlphaEdge 4D is based on over 15 years of collecting data. Built to provide another level of energy return, impact cushioning, and stability, Adidas used high-speed motion capture to gather knowledge on how runners land on their feet and precisely where they need more support. The result is a lattice-style one-piece midsole that has captured a lot of attention and interest. To complete the Adidas AlphaEdge 4D, they also used a Primeknit upper with TPU-coated fibers for targeted support. Check out the pics for details on this innovative running model from Adidas.
