Japanese fashion designer Mihara Yasuhiro is known for his quirky and unique footwear creations. Since 2000, he has partnered with Puma to produce memorable and original designs that push the boundaries of sport and fashion. With the funky and fashionable Puma MY-77, Mihara takes the popular sneaker wedge design and introduces new materials and meticulous details. Available in black and leopard print, they feature a mesh upper with all-over print, bonded patent leather details, and an unexpected wooden wedge. Like the entire Puma x Mihara 2014 Spring line-up, the designs were inspired by the "culture clash" of the large Japanese migration, post-WWII, to Brasil.
