The tag on the tongue of Air Jordan "Fusion" models reads, "The Best of Both Worlds." And, it really is. Nike decided to combine two of their most beloved institutions, Air Force 1 and Air Jordan, to produce a collection of "Fusion" models. The initial reaction by sneakerheads around the globe was hesitant, but that quickly faded. With the popularity of the Air Jordan Fusion V and Air Jordan Fusion III models, with plenty more to come, Nike has put the skeptics to rest. The models use the Air Force 1 design as their core, then implement characteristics of different Air Jordan models. By incorporating elephant print, lace locks, a visible Air sole, netting and more, they have successfully elevated both models.
