Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan VII originally released in 1992 and was worn by Jordan while playing on the "Dream Team" during the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. They sport a design inspired by West African tribal art, and have been re-released in several colorways, including the "Bourdeauxs," "Olympics," "Hares," "Cardinals," and "Raptors" (to name a few). The latest edition of this popular model is the Air Jordan VII Retro "Pantone". Featuring a colorway that draws obvious inspiration from Jordan's alma mater – University of North Carolina, they're crafted with a tonal University Blue nubuck upper that sits atop a stark white outsole.
