The Air Jordan XII was originally released during the 1996-97 NBA season in five colorways. With a design inspired by the Japan Rising Sun flag, they are crafted with a leather upper, signature stitching details, and were the first Air Jordan signature model to be part of the Jordan Brand collection. They are also widely known for their comfort, ankle support, and since the AJXII is the first Air Jordan model with Zoom Air technology, superior cushioning. Although the Air Jordan XII "French Blue" colorway was not part of the original five (it first debuted in 2004), it still remains one of the most sought after. This year marks its first return since it first hit the shelves, and sneakerheads are waiting anxiously for its release. Look for the Air Jordan XII "French Blue" coming soon.
