In 1993, the same year Michael Jordan announced that he was stepping away from basketball; Nike released the Air Jordan IX. It was designed by Tinker Hatfield and represented the globalization of the Air Jordan brand name. The sneaker features words in different languages that represent Jordan's play, an inner bootie, encapsulated Air-Sole unit, "one-pull" lacing system, and a stitched "23" on the back. Nike also released a special cleated version of the Air Jordan IX that MJ wore during his brief stint in baseball.
Overall Rating for Air Jordan IX (9) Retro
I'm very happy with my purchase and with the service. I look forward to future purchases and new shoes.

Must have in your shoe collection, or if you're a true sneakerhead. The significance of the shoe alone is worth every penny. Color scheme is a first also. Definitely a local favorite for bay area consumers, easily goes with a raider jersey. Lol. All jokes aside, the quality & color-way of shoe are on point. You can easily put together a fit with these whether shorts or pants, tanks or button-up, these shoes will only compliment the gear. Highly recommend. Big Ups to sneakerhead also, for always having the releases early & without the hassle of shopping malls, they always deliver on time!
