Designer Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from the 1940s Mustang fighter plane when designing the Air Jordan V. Released in 1990, Jordan's fifth signature sneaker was originally constructed with a leather or nubuck upper, reflective tongue, lace locks, "Nike AIR" on the heel, "shark teeth" design on the midsole, and a translucent outsole. Over the years, the Air Jordan V has been released in many new colorways.

Loved this color since back in the day when I use to watch fresh prince. Real clean white with a nice combo of accent colors. I was checking the site everyday for this to come up so I can purchase them. The one day I didn't check they posted them and was sold out. I didn't give up and bame, a couple days later I had another chance....ty
