Here is another mash up from Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan XVI.5 (16.5) combines the Air Jordan XVI (16) and the Air Jordan XVII (17). They feature a double row of lace holes, patent leather toe box and midsole, "chrome" outsole, and "Jordan" is detailed in Braille on the heel. Plus, the colorway is almost identical to the original Air Jordan XVI, which was released in 2001. The design comes together nicely and that means it's another Jordan Brand hybrid success story.
Overall Rating for Air Jordan XVI.5 (16.5) Team
Rasheem, Miami, Florida
These 16.5s are a good shoe to play in. The overall fit is nice and snug, runs a little wide in the toe box though. Your foot is solid and secure in the shoe the entire time while playing and that is a great feature. Cusion is very nice as well, not as good as zoom air imo, but the full length air sole is an overall nice feel. Very durrable and breathable as well. The only down side was the traction/ clear sole. These are meant to grip the floor better than any other type of sole out there, but NOT when the floor is dusty. So I would not recommened to play in these outdoors but indoors on a nice clean gym floor is perfect. Overall good shoe!
