Based out of Costa Mesa, California, Supra Footwear was founded in 2005 by Angel Cabada. A devoted skater, Angel was born and raised in Orange County and has previously worked for TSA and KR3W Footwear. Angel named the brand “Supra” which in Latin means “above and beyond,” and that’s exactly where the brand has gone in a very short time.
Considering Supra has its roots in skateboarding, it’s not hard to believe that they have assembled one of freshest skate crews in the business, including Terry Kennedy, Chad Muska and Antwuan Dixon. Chad Muska’s signature sneaker features a full length midsole with SupraFoam for impact resistance, internal neoprene toecap for protection and tongue straps for support.
