Freshman Sneaker Hunters: General Information
These required classes cover the history and anatomy of a sneaker and practical guides for choosing sneakers and caring for them.
The History of Shoes
This is the first and most basic sneakerology course. This class covers the history of shoes and footwear from primitive man to the modern sneaker era.
The History of Sneakers
This basic course covers the history of sneakers from their invention to the present day with an emphasis on U.S. manufacturers.
Basic Shoe Anatomy
This course explores the basic anatomy of a sneaker in preparation for the hands-on, real-world experience of choosing a pair of shoes.
Shoe Dictionary
A helpful resource for all students of sneakerology. Look up definitions for all shoe and sneaker related terminology.
Choosing Great Shoes
This hands-on class is taught in the sneaker hunter lab where students will have an opportunity to gain practical knowledge in the field of choosing the appropriate sneakers for any situation.
Caring For Your Sneakers
This course is also taught in the sneaker hunter lab. It allows students to learn care for their new sneakers.
Sophomore Sneaker Hunter: Sneaker Manufacturers
U.S. Shoe Brands
This required class covers the history and evolution of the current major manufacturers of all your favorite sneakers. (3 credits)
Primary Brands
Primary brands are well know by most consumers. They are household names like Nike and Reebok.

Nike Air Jordan: A History
This optional class is a supplement to U.S. Sneaker Manufacturers course. In this class, you'll learn about the history of Nike Air Jordan brand and the implications of Air Jordan becoming a separate company.
Evolution of Air Jordan Sneakers
This optional class is a supplement to our Sneakerhead 201 course. In this course, you'll learn the history of the Air Jordan brand as we discuss the nineteen different Jordan shoe models.
Junior Sneaker Hunter: Sneaker Technology
Sneaker Tech
With an emphasis on Nike as the model for all brands this course instructs the junior sneaker hunter on the technology that goes into making sneakers.
Required Courses: Sneakerhead 101
Nike Research and Development
Recommended for all Nike brand majors, this class offers a brief introduction to the research and development process for Nike, Inc.
The Evolution of Nike Shox
This supplemental course, the Evolution of Nike Shox, is recommended for all Nike Brand majors. Professor Sneakerhead will guide you through an exploration of the design and implementation of the Shox technology.
