1-866-339-7463Founded in 1946, the Sebago Company was started by three New England natives and friends: Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau. The first shoe they released was a hand-sewn penny loafer. Sebago's penny loafer was inspired by the popular Indian moccasin and featured the company's patented welt construction. It was a BIG success. With a firm foundation in quality and style, the Sebago Company started to expand quickly.
By 1954, they had celebrated the production of their 1,000,000 shoe, which were now being sold in Sears and Montgomery Ward. Then, throughout the 50s and 60s Sebago expanded its collection by offering a range of shoes, including women's models, and began to export internationally. In 1970, Sebago released their most recognizable model to date, the iconic 'Dockside' boat shoe. Known for their handsewn genuine moc construction, slip-resistant rubber sole, and non-corrosive brass eyelets, the Docksides are still an iconic silhouette, and worn by men, women and kids.
While still proudly maintaining their roots in meticulous quality and classic style, the Sebago collection now includes a wide array of rugged boots, casual shoes, and modern styles. Recently, they have also collaborated with innovative designers/artists like Vane, Stash, Ronnie Fieg, The Brothers Bray & Co. and Kimmie Smith. SIMPLE CLASSIC. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE AND I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO LAST. THE QUALITY IS REALLY GOOD. THIS IS MY FIRST SEBAGO SHOE AND I REALLY LIKE THEM.

So far, they have teamed up with Stash, Ronnie Fieg and BillyKirk. Plus, for the Field EXO Boot and EXO Boot, Sebago enlisted the talents of New York-based design collective, VANE. The Field EXO Boot features genuine moccasin construction, a roll-down outer layer, rawhide leather laces, and a Vibram outsole. The EXO Boot features the same roll-down construction, but also has patent leather and ballistic nylon on the upper, and implements a Docksides slip-resistant rubber sole. Both boots from SEBAGO are constructed with premium materials and feature an original design. We are now proudly stocking the SEBAGO x VANE collab creations.
