The Air Griffey Max 1 was originally released in 1996 when Ken Griffey Jr. played for the Seattle Mariners. It was his first signature sneaker and quickly became a favorite among sneakerheads. They feature a combination of materials on the upper, signature ankle strap with "24" on the side, visible Air-Sole unit, inner bootie, heel pull tab, and a rubber outsole.
Overall Rating for Nike Air Griffey Max 1
If you want a pair of well designed, field tested, extremely comfortable, classics that are easy on the eyes, then you can't go wrong with these kicks. Every Sneakerhead should have at least one pair of Griffey Max 1's. I recently added 2 pairs to my collection, but I'm definitely gonna order these. This color way is off the hook, and for a great price.
Gotta Get Em
These griffeys are an unusual colorway but all griffeys look good.
