The Quest for the AF1 I'm diabetic. This means caring for my feet is crucial if I want to keep them attached to me for a while. I have found that the Nike AF1 model offers the best combination of protection, cushioning, seamless internal design and comfort. The fact that it's one of the most popular shoes in the world is nice too. My point? Good luck finding them at a local store. I'm in Atlanta - and had no luck. Seriously. So I went online. I've never purchased shoes over the 'net before, so I was skeptical that the experience would be spotty. Sure, I expected good pricing, and hoped for availability of color, size, etc. I figured there'd be a lot of stores. There were a lot of sites, but very few offered the combination of price, size and return policy that I was looking for. Then I found Sneakerhead. They had a great interface, lots of pictures & choices, and the magic trifecta of price, size, and GREAT return policy. I ordered two pair or AF1 shoes. Good price, fast delivery, and they offered to take them back with NO PROBLEMS if they weren't just what I wanted. Even included the return UPS sticker in the box. I will be buying all my future shoes from Sneakerhead.com. If you want my experience, try them. They are a GREAT example of how the web kicks butt on local clueless stores.
