Here is Kobe Bryant's fifth signature sneaker from Nike, the Nike Zoom Kobe V. They are his lowest and lightest signature sneaker to date. In fact, the Nike Zoom Kobe V is currently the lightest basketball sneaker on the market. And, it's also one of the most durable. They feature a sculpted heel counter that keeps your feet sliding, an enhanced outrigger that provides superior stability, heat-bonded overlays, and Zoom Air in the heel and forefoot for cushioning. Sleek soccer cleats were the inspiration for the Zoom Kobe V design. And, Nike reinforced key sections to ensure maximum support in all the right places while on the hardwood.

"These new Zoom Kobe V are amazing. They are so light that you don't even feel them throughout all four quarters, yet they still have amazing traction. People might say that low cut shoes are bad for your ankles. Think about this; soccer players play in low cut shoes, and they put as much or more torque on their ankles and they are fine. The Zoom Kobe V is like a sock; it fits your feet perfectly. Your feet do not move around in these shoes. The feature I like most about these shoes are the air holes. My feet tend to burn up throughout the game and it feels awkward. However, with these air holes it keeps your feet cool. Another feature that I am fond of is its cushioning. Usually after basketball games, my heel and toes tend to hurt from all the jumping and running. However, with these air bags under the heel and toes, my feet did not hurt at all. These shoes are very durable as well.
