Released in 1982 and designed by the legendary Bruce Kilgore, the Air Force 1 was the first sneaker to feature “Air” technology and was named after the Air Force One aircraft that is used by the President of the United States. As Nike’s most popular sneaker, everyone from mail carriers to NBA greats has laced them up. Plus, since 1982 the Air Force 1 has been produced in over 1,500 different color combinations. ""Great all round experience. My only complaint is the high cost of postage to Australia. There is such a market for anything basketball here, yet the cost of postage often kills the whole process. I know many who will just not buy online from the US because of elevated postage costs. That's a real shame as I dso think merchants are pricing themselves out of a lucrative market :(""
