For his sixth signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, Nike was heavily inspired by Kobe's nickname, the Black Mamba. This is showcased by the reptilian design on the upper, scale-like pattern on the outsole, and Nike even imprinted "VENOMENON" in the front of the midsole. The performance features were also tailored for Kobe's game with an extremely lightweight design that incorporates Flywire technology, Zoom Air in the heel and forefoot, and custom sock liners that conform to your feet. Please note only the men's model has Zoom technology.
