Nike Delta Force AC
We have seen Nike go down the vulcanized "AC" path with several classic models, this time they're doin' it with the Nike Delta Force AC. The upper on the Nike Delta Force, originally released in 1988, stays true to the classic on this model. But, Nike changed the midsole completely with a vulcanized treatment. This new midsole definitely gives the sneaker a more "lifestyle" look. The Nike Delta Force AC is available in high and mid models.
The next classic Nike silhouette to get the Autoclave treatment is this Nike Delta Force Low AC. This version of the lifestyle shoe uses the same vulcanized sole as the high-top, using white as a base color with a black stripe. Matching that stripe are the uppers, which mix mesh and leather, both in black. The tongue label matches too, working a black-on-black color-up. Rather than use a black Swoosh with white contrast stitching to match the sole and accents like the Nike Delta high ACs, these utilize a white Swoosh to bring the colorway full circle.
