Nike Blazer High Premium
Released in 1972, the Nike Blazer was one of the first basketball sneakers Nike ever created. They were designed to compete with Converse and Adidas sneakers that were dominating the court, and feature a simple design with a large Nike Swoosh, and an outsole that is fused to the upper. Today you won't find the Blazer on the hardwood, but the classic design still remains extremely popular for casual wear.
The Nike Blazer is well know for its crazy designs, which is a good thing. This new Nike Blazer High Premium retro basketball shoe comes in a White/Black/Varsity Maize colorway. The retro basketball shoe sports a white base with graffiti designs seen on the side panels. White is seen on the midsole, laces, and the Nike Swoosh. While the toe box, tongue, and the ankle are all done up in black. Rumored to be designed by Futura a world-renown street/graffiti-artist who has a long-standing resume filled with collaborations with Nike. There hasn't been any publicity regarding this pair, and there are no apparent trademarks, as Futura customarily leaves his recognizable graffiti font on his Nike designs. However, the intricate jazz art and basketball inspired design leads us to believe that these Nike Blazers were touched by an artist's hand.
