Nike Air Structure Triax 91
Many have anxiously awaited the return of the Nike Air Structure Triax 91, and now it is here. The sneaker that was touted for providing the utmost cushion and stability for runners was loved for its performance and design. Nike has re-released them in original colors (to keep the old school heads happy) and new never seen before colors (to keep the new school heads happy). But everyone will agree that the Air Structure Triax 91 is a must have.
The Air Structure Triax 91 running shoe has been a welcome addition to Nike's retro runners. It's clean and classic silhouette has been the recipient of numerous colors and materials in recent seasons, and it even spawned a high top basketball version, the Nike Air Hoop Structure. This version of the Nike Air Structure follows a simple but poignant colorway that resembles the Livestrong collection in it's appropriation of black and yellow. This classic running shoe silhouette is not part of the Lance Armstrong collection, yet it stands out with it's black suede and mesh upper with a bright yellow swoosh while white is used on the top lace hole and heel panel. The use of dark grey and yellow on mid-sole adds in color with its zig-zag design, with some tonal interest on the sole as well. A sparse usage of white also appears around the air bubble, and on the outsole of the sneaker.
