Nike Air Max '97
With a sleek design that was inspired by the high-speed Japanese Bullet Train, the Nike Air Max 97 continues to be a favorite among sneakerheads. Today this runner still sports a comfortable full-length visible Max Air unit and is available in many different colorways and materials, but the original Nike Air Max 97 was metallic silver, featured three reflective lines around the upper, and was recognized for its space-age glow.
The Nike Air Max '97 retro running shoe comes in a metallic silver/varsity red-white-black colorway, which is very reminiscent of the classic Air Max '97 retro running shoe. The Air Max '97 is certainly one shoe that is ill-defined when mentioning style approach and popularity. Closely resembling 2005's Euro exclusive colorway with a metallic silver coloration rounding the toe area and red accents, the sport red is well read across the upper with black segments that contrast the two releases. This newly released Air Max '97 gets all the usual fixings: metallic silver leather, 3m paneling, varsity red mesh tongue, and Air Max sole. The color blocking follows the waves that are integrated into the design of the upper. The shoe's lining is white mesh, a nice touch especially if one plans to actually run in these.
