Nike Air Max 1 QS
The Nike Air Max 1, which made its debut in 1987, is known for being the first Nike model to reveal Nike's Air Max technology. Developed by an independent inventor (who was originally turned down by Adidas), Air Max technology provides superior cushioning and impact absorption, which is critical for runners. The Air Max 1 was also designed with a nylon/synthetic upper for lockdown support and excellent ventilation.
Nike has released the Air Max 1 retro running shoe in its original Varsity Royal colorway as a Quickstrike release in the US. Blue is also seen on the top lace eyelets, tongue badge, and heel branding. As some of you may remember, this Nike Air Max 1 Varsity Blue colorway was only released overseas back in 2009. Other retro releases have only been in women's sizes, making it difficult for many to obtain this iconic piece of Nike history. Continue Reading...

This shoe is amazing. As an Air Max connoisseur, I have a great appreciation for any and all Air Maxes. This compared to the varisty red Air Max 1 QS released in 2009, this shoe blows it away. Materials are exactly what they need to be, shape of shoe is right on and comfort does not get any better. A+ for this shoe!
