Air Jordan Spiz'ike
The Air Jordan Spiz'ike is the ultimate mash up. Jordan Brand fused the Air Jordan III, Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan V and the Air Jordan VI models to create one unique design. The Spiz'ike pays tribute to Jordan's beloved commercial sidekick Mars Blackmon, played by Spike Lee. Jordan and Mars starred in many commercials that not only set the foundation for the Jordan Brand, but accelerated its popularity around the world with the phrase, "Is it the shoes?"
The Air Jordan Spiz'ike has been doing relatively well with each release. It seems to have sidestepped the hybrid hate that is normally volleyed at its peers and has become accepted as a unique addition to the Jordan catalog. Fans of the Air Jordan Spiz'ike now have another model to aim for adding to their collection with this new black/new blue/white-infrared color way. The most eye-popping attributes on this retro basketball shoe is the various infrared sections on the upper, namely the midsole. The Air Jordan Spiz'ike retro basketball shoe sports large sections of black, white and cement, along with red and blue accents and the materials include nubuck, patent and standard leather. Also, the inner-lining will feature phrases from the Mars Blackmon/Air Jordan commercials such as "I can fly" and "Michael Jordan flight school". Continue Reading...

Spike Lee's collabo shoe is great. The design is sweeeet and its durable. I wouldn't mind dropping the amount for a comination of the great jordan eras. I do play basketball in them because they are durable and it looks fly on the court.

"Pretty Amazing Shoe. So dope. But for $175, i guess they're okay. Amazing comfort. Once i stepped into it, my feet felt amazing. The ankle cushion is pretty good. Love the design and the mix of six retros. Elephant skin is bomb. And they shoe layout is so dope. Goes well with pretty much anything. Took a little time to break in though. Otherwise, A really good shoe you must get before they sell out."

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Spizike shoe, it’s a combination of legendary Nike ad man Mars Blackmon’s favorite Air Jordans (AJ 3, 4, 5, 6, 20). The Mars Blackmon character was played by acclaimed film maker Spike Lee hence the name Spizike. This particular color scheme is inspired by the Infrared Air Jordan VI originally released in the early 1990s.
