Originally, the Air Jordan 6 (VI) Premium "Motorsports" model was only available to the Jordan Motorsports team, but that is no longer the case. This version of the sneaker Jordan wore while winning his first NBA Championship feature a White leather upper, elephant print lining, Black midsoles, and grey outsoles (which replace the transparent material on the original). It is an ultra clean design that is very limited.

This year Jordan Brand decided to go with a black and white motosports color scheme, and have designed a pair of retro Air Jordan 6 (VI) to go with the bike. The Air Jordan 6 (VI) "Motorsports" premium basketball sneaker features a white upper with some unique treatments. The inner liner is done up in the iconic elephant print in cement grey.
