Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro
In 1991 Michael Jordan won his first NBA Championship while wearing the Air Jordan VI. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by Jordan's slant-nosed Porsche, the Air Jordan VI sports an inner bootie for snug support, two holes on the tongue for easy application, visible Air Sole, rear spoiler, lace locks, and a translucent outsole.
As yet another Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro basketball shoe released for 2010, this pair boasts a White and Varsity Red color-up. This particular version of the Air Jordan 6 consists of a color scheme made up to resemble that of the White/Infrared version released back in 1991. First reports labeled this as using Infrared, but like the Black/Varsity Red pair releasing earlier this year, the switch-a-roo was done by Jordan and the varsity red was used instead. The entirety of the upper of this retro basketball shoe is done with white leather, including the perforated sections on forefoot, mid-panel, and near the ankle. For the midsole, Varsity Red comes in to play, as well as white. One element we can all be glad Jordan Brand didn't switch out is the icy clear outsole standard on all 6 colorways.
