Originally released in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 was the first Nike model to feature "Air" technology. This legendary basketball sneaker was designed by Bruce Kilgore, and named after the aircraft that carries the President of the United States, the Air Force One. The Air Force 1 is Nike's most popular sneaker to date, has been produced in nearly 2,000 different colorways, and is available in low, mid, and high-top models.
Although the Nike Air Force 1 has not released in limitless colorways like previous years, this iconic silhouette has still received its share of attention. The Nike Air Force 1 retro style shoe is taking on the two tone look as of lately. With all the Air Force 1's seen lately, most of them have really only featured two colors. Well here we get another two tone Air Force 1 low as the latest one comes in a loud White/Electric Green colorway. White leather makes up the majority of the base much like some of the more traditional Air Force 1's we have seen over the years. Yet, its electric green accents, such as the swoosh, outsole and Nike tongue branding, give this retro style shoe a very distinctive color scheme. Its complimentary attributes, including the monochromatic laces and inner lining, keep this shoe simple at the same time. From the outsole to the swoosh the shoe uses very simple color blocking to get its point across making the hue noticeable.
