The 2010 FIFA World Cup is right around the corner, and as you may expect, Nike has been releasing footwear to coincide with the world's most watched sporting event. The World Cup-inspired "True Colors" pack's releases continue to trickle in at stateside accounts. This Nike Air BW Gen II retro running shoe was designed by South African artist Kronk as a tribute to his homeland and the host country of the upcoming games. The artist's influence on these was limited, but can be seen in the custom lettering on the tongue. Green lettering also appears on the heel. For this retro running shoe, Nike coupled its Torch technology while the remainder of the shoe is completely white. Torch, mesh and suede are all used, and a bit of grey can be seen on the midsole.
