Many of Gourmet Footwear’s initial designs were inspired by classic Air Jordan models. These stripped down versions were not carbon copies, but rather a refined interpretation on the iconic Air Jordan silhouettes. Although this was a risky proposition, critics and sneakerheads instantly applauded the designs. Some of those designs include the Gourmet Cease (inspired by the Air Jordan VII), Gourmet Desisto (inspired by the Air Jordan XI), Gourmet Santo (inspired by the Air Jordan XII), and the Gourmet Diablo (inspired by the Air Jordan XIII).
Just like you would expect from an Italian brand, Gourmet uses a wide range of quality materials in their collection. From EPI leather, which is commonly used for high-end purses to hand-woven custom canvases, and memory foam insoles.
