Nike Air Force One Olympic

July 27, 2008 5:00:00 PM PDT

Along with many other recent Nike releases, these Air Force 1 models were inspired by the Beijing Olympic games. They are fresh, simple and available in numerous different two-tone colorways. As you may know, the number "8" has a lot meaning to the Chinese culture. And, it is why Nike chose to use octagon pattern perforations on the side panels on each of these Air Force 1 designs. You will also see the octagon pattern in various applications on other Beijing Olympic-inspired models from Nike. The pattern definitely brings uniqueness to these sneakers. Plus, they are a great alternative to the loud colorways that are currently on the market.

What do you get when you mix up canvas with the classic Air Force 1? A fresh pair of kicks. After many years of begging and pleading by Air Force 1 lovers worldwide, Nike is releasing a whole Crayola box of colors of Air Force 1 Supreme models using canvas, not leather. These designs are the epitome of clean. Plus, Nike even took it one step further. All of the canvas Air Force 1 Supreme models also feature "inside-out" stitching. The stitching provides the upper a sleek look because it is void of visible stitches. These colorways are being considered "must haves" by Air force 1 enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike. Proving once again that Nike's motor never stops when it comes to releasing hot, updated models of the AF1.
