Over 25 years later, Nike is taking us back to a memorable World Series match-up with its latest pack. The Nike SB Dunk "1990 World Series Pack" commemorates the exciting upset of the Oakland Athletics by the Cincinnati Reds. The pack includes a Dunk High and a Dunk Low model with team-inspired colorways. The Dunk Low
has a Reds colorway with a gold Swoosh to represent their championship win, "NASTY" and "BOYS" stitched on the heels, and American flag details. The Dunk High
has an A's colorway, baseball stitching on tongue tag, and also, American Flag details. You can catch both pairs now at Sneakerhead.
The Nike SB Dunk originally released in 2002. With a revamped skateboarding-specific design, innovative features, and limited releases, it introduced a whole generation to sneakers and sneaker culture. After remaining dormant in recent history, we have seen a resurgence in themed SB Dunk releases, like the recently released Nike SB Dunk Low "Gucci."
Sporting a colorway that's famously associated with the Italian fashion brand, they also feature reptilian-inspired embossed leather, a contrasting white midsole, and of course, an insole equipped with Zoom Air in the heel. You can grab this limited model now at Sneakerhead.
