Reebok x Stash Pump “Tiger Camo”

04/23/2014

Legendary New York graffiti artist Stash has teamed up with Reebok again to create some fresh new renditions of classic Reebok “Pump” models. The Reebok X Stash Pump Omni Lite and Reebok x Stash Pump Court Victory both share a durable canvas upper, all-over tiger camo print, and “Stash” embroidered on the heel. These models also feature a tonal basketball or tennis ball “pump” on the tongue instead of their traditional make-up. Considering these iconic sneakers are so closely associated with their original colorways, Stash’s new take almost makes them unrecognizable. You can cop both models now at Sneakerhead.

The Nike Basketball “Easter” Collection is becoming an annual tradition, and this year the collection includes three very distinct Easter-inspired creations. First there is the Nike Kobe IX EM, which has an all-over print inspired by the appearance of dying eggs. Next is the Nike LeBron XI Low in a clean white upper with paisley pattern accents, inspired by wearing your Sunday best. And lastly, in camo print (with bunnies), is the Nike KD VI. With all three models being extremely limited, it’s safe to say sneakerheads will be “hunting” for something other than eggs this year.

In 1994, Jordan played for the Birmingham Barons (a Double-A minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox), the team that inspired both of these retro models. The Air Jordan 1 “Barons” and Air Jordan IX “Barons” both have a striking white, black and grey colorway, which matches the Barons’ team colors. The AJIX is also adorned with Jordan’s baseball jersey number “45” on the heel to further reinforce the baseball connection. Like most retro Jordan releases, these models are in high demand and available in limited quantities.
