As the NBA season is winding down, Kobe Bryant and Nike are preparing for the playoffs and Kobe's mission to acquire his 5th championship. During his run to the NBA Championship, Kobe will rock and Nike will release the Playoff Pack Nike Zoom Kobe V professional basketball shoes. This colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V Carpe Diem is part of a collection known as the Playoff Pack. The color choice is the obvious Lakers inspired. The uppers of this professional basketball shoe are done up in black. Varsity Purple accents are assigned to the tongue, toe cap, and rear panel. Touches of gold are also used on the shoe, and are spotted on the mid panel and Nike Swoosh outline. Instead of the reptilian texture that pops up on many of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, the Playoff pack Nike Zoom Kobe V Carpe Diem features Nike's Playoff Pack print for this year which is a print made of small triangles that come together to make one larger cohesive print.
