Penny has been sidelined due to injury but not forgotten by Nike. Penny Hardaway hasn't been in the league for some time, but his shoes have managed to retain sneakerheads interest. Whether it's the Nike Air Penny II or the Nike Air Foamposite One, the sneakers that have graced Anfernee's feet still get us to pull out our wallets. Add this Nike Air Penny III retro basketball shoe to the list. The toe box joins with the rest of the shoe upper there are about 4 rows of perforations all neatly arranged while the white shoe lace contrasts with the black tongue. The shoe laces are thick string that match with the look of this shoe. At the tip of the tongue, there is a tab hook this feature is also repeated at the back tab of the shoe. The varsity red portion covers approximately half of the shoe. The midsole almost disappears for the center of the shoe while the heel has a prominent midsole. The midsole of the heel has a transparent section that showcases the Nike Air technology which helps show off the mirror-finish Penny logo near the heel. The Nike Penny III retro basketball shoe is meant to be a classic.
