This new colorway is definitely one that original fans should come to love. Though lacking the fanfare of the Air Jordan VI (6) and Air Jordan IX (9) retros, the Air Jordan II (2) retro basketball shoe is certainly having a good year of releases. We've seen the Bulls-colorway edition, the Silver Anniversary edition in stark white and silver, and the Premio Bin 23 edition, among a few others, and now fans of this model get a chance to get their hands on a slickly-styled university blue and black model. Featuring a mixture of materials like suede and pebbled leather, the upper appears in mostly the shade of blue that Jordan knew well while at University of North Carolina. Black accents appear throughout the upper and on the heel and midsole. This model also boasts an icy blue outsole to add to the intrigue. This is a first on the Air Jordan 2 (II) retro basketball shoe, and it does not disappoint.
