The limited edition Asics Onitsuka Tiger Corsair, the classic runner that kick-started the jogging boom in the 70s, features a "vintage" treatment on the soles, gold "1969" embroidered on the heel, white leather upper, red "Tiger Stripes," and a thick midsole. When the Corsair first released in '69 they were touted for their increased cushioning, arch cookies, full-length midsole, and thicker heel for shock absorption.
