CLASSIC

Ray, ORLANDO, Florida

"A great classic/retro looking shoe - I wanted something cute, yet comfy enough to wear while walking several miles a day. (Specifically, something I could wear next to a NYC hipster on the subway and not feel completely awful about myself.) It is a bit narrow, but it's fine for me and I don't have narrow feet. I was expecting more arch support based on other reviews, but the inside is nearly flat. There is very little arch support, certainly not "excellent arch support" as other reviews said. Still, it's comfortable enough for me to wear while walking several miles at a time. Another reviewer complained of a horrible rubber smell from the sole. Yeah. I'm not sure what that was about, as I haven't had that problem. The top of the tongue of the shoe is rubbery and tends to slide around a bit, since there's no loop to keep the tongue to the laces. Also, this is rather random, but they sent me two different length laces. Overall, I really like the shoes. They make my feel look small, they feel good, and they look good. Just beware if you need more width or arch support than average."
