The Adidas Campus was released in the 1970's as a basketball shoe. In the early 70's, the Campus was called the Tournament, but the shoes were renamed around 1980. Although the Adidas Campus is generally associated with the hip-hop scene, it really gained its reputation after the Brooklyn based group, the Beastie Boys began wearing them and even featured them on the cover of the 1992 Album Check Your Head. The Adidas Campus was then adopted by skateboarders worldwide and an Adidas Superstar style outsole was added to increase its durability. After this change, the Campus rivaled the Adidas Gazelle for quality construction and durability. Popular for its light weight, variety of great colors, casual look, and long lifespan, the Adidas Campus is a great casual shoe for the comfortable jeans and t-shirt look.
Fitting Notes: Adidas shoes are often narrow. You may want to consider a half size larger than your normal shoe size, especially if you have wide feet.

I got the shoes I wanted and they were $25 cheaper than any price I could find here in Virginia. Sneakerhead had online chat support which I used and liked a lot.
