The Adidas Fleetwood style was first released in the 1980's as top of the line basketball shoes from the Cadillac series design with Run DMC. Distinctive features of the original French-made Fleetwoods include a snake-skin effect on the toe box and side panel, ribbed section on the sides, large Adidas trefoil logo on an extra padded tongue, and elastic stabilizer to allow for wearing the Fleetwood unlaced. The Adidas Fleetwood was reissued in 2004 in both high-top and low-top versions.
Fun Fact: The Adidas Fleetwood is one of the tallest basketball shoes ever made by Adidas.
