The Adidas Rom was first launched in 1959 as a training shoe, and in 1979 was updated to the current version with an EVA midsole and aggressive outsole. The leather upper and jagged outsole make this older model a basic all-around training shoe for turf, but like most retro styles, the Rom is better suited to the easy life of fashion.
