Nike is releasing many models throughout the summer that draw inspiration from the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This Air Force 1 Premium model is being the coined “Bird’s Nest” and celebrates the unique architecture of Beijing National Stadium, where many track events will be held. Along with a red, dark obsidian, and white upper, the side panel pattern on this AF1 mimics the “bird’s nest” design of Beijing National Stadium. The tongue of the shoe is also topped with a gold tag resembling an Olympic Gold Medal.
