This year Nike chose the Wildwood 90 Free Trail as the model to celebrate the Year of the Rat (the first of twelve animals in the Chinese Zodiac). The Nike WildWood 90 Free Trail is a hybrid sneaker that has taken design elements from the Wildwood, Air Max 90 and Free Trail. To commemorate the Year of the Rat, the Chinese symbol for the word “rat” is printed in red on each shoe. They also feature a tumbled suede upper and footbed with rat graphics.
