2008 is the Year of the Dunk. From the ground up we start with black. This hue is used throughout the shoe on the sole, toebox, heel tab, upper, liner, tongue, and middle of the sneaker. Nike took design cue’s from the recent Gore-Tex high tops with the basic-essentials color scheme. A Neutral Grey tone withholds the midsole and Swoosh. A Varsity Royal Blue holds a fine accent as a casual base color. Sneakerheads will appreciate the interesting use of materials and details on this particular model. First things first, within a closer gaze one would notice a mesh middle. On the Varsity Royal rear of the shoe imprints an earthquake style pattern as used on the HUF Air Force Ones. The crackle print finished the model up nicely, showing a classic colorway with a spice of details is a pair every shoe-head needs.
