Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Plaid
One of the most stylish, timeless, and versatile sneakers ever created, the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. Originally released as the All Star in 1917, they added the Chuck Taylor name after the popular basketball player endorsed the model. Currently, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is still an extremely popular sneaker and worn across the globe by men, women, boys and girls. They are also now available in an array of colors, materials and modified designs.

This shoe was purchased as a trip overseas vacation shoe. It turns out that it went through treks in the Pyrenees, kayaking down the Dordogne and day walks through the streets of London. They held up just fine. The whiteness of the rubber is just starting to patina (yellow) after 4 weeks. It actually looks better now (not so much bright contrast). The only criticism is that there is no arch support. If I had to wear them all the time it would create a problem. Overall I'm very happy with them.
