Reebok S. Carter III
Reebok made history in 2003 when they made the unprecedented move of signing an entertainer to endorse their products. The ensuing collection is a fusion between sports, music, and celebrity and a result of their collaboration with Jay-Z (aka Shaun Carter) and the talented Rbk designers. Smooth and stylish, the first edition of the S. Carter was made with soft leather in a style reminiscent of 80's Gucci footwear. This design held true to the symbolic good-life, uptown attitude of urban fashion and hip-hop. The Reebok S. Carter delivered a fashionable, clean look lifestyle shoe with an authentic feeling behind it. Now, almost 3 years later, Reebok has released the S. Carter III, a special all-leather edition. The interior of this S. Carter is a soft, wrinkled leather perhaps similar to the leather used in the Reebok Freestyle and the insole is also a soft full-grain leather etched with the S. Carter logo. Other new features on the Reebok S. Carter III include a silver metallic I.D. tag on the tongue, the signature two-toned shoelaces, and a scallop-edged leather accent at the rear of the shoe.
